FLTA TurkishHatice Gokce Gozukara, Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant, Turkish

Gokce holds a degree in Language Teaching from Hacettepe University. She has experience in different educational settings, working with students from a variety of backgrounds, and has recently joined Northwestern University as a Teaching Assistant in Turkish in the MENA Languages program. She enjoys creating supportive classroom environments and values the exchange of cultures and ideas through language learning. Outside the classroom, she enjoys exploring different cultures and the ways language brings people together.

 

 

 

 

MENNA

Menna Aaziz, Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant, Arabic

Hailing from Egypt, Menna has extensive experience in education, having taught both in her home country and abroad. She has worked with students of diverse backgrounds and levels, and is greatly committed to creating a welcoming environment where every learner can flourish. Before becoming a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in the MENA Languages Program, she served as a literacy coach, helping students strengthen their reading and writing by tailoring the curricula to their individual needs.

Menna is an alumna of the English Language and Literature Department at Cairo University, where she is currently pursuing an M.A with a focus on the relationship between food and grief healing in memoirs. In her personal life, Menna enjoys meeting people from different cultures and participating in activities that build global connections. Her interests also include engaging with different forms of artistic expressions, especially dancing and reading.
