Arabic Language Students Help ICNA Relief
February 24, 2020
Professor Rana Raddawi and a dozen Arabic Language students spent part of this past weekend volunteering at the ICNA Relief Refugee Resource Center and Food Pantry in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood. The group worked with ICNA Relief's staff and clients in a variety of ways, from assisting with registrations, to sorting and packing food, to carrying bags. Throughout it all, the students thoroughly enjoyed the varied opportunities to practice speaking Arabic with native Arabic speakers. Read the full report in the Daily Northwestern.
