Congratulations to Arabic Language student Natalie Myren who was chosen to be senior Electee for Phi Beta Kappa.

With tremendous joy, we recognize Natalie Myren for her selection to Phi Beta Kappa. Each spring, the Northwestern chapter of Phi Beta Kappa elects juniors and seniors in Weinberg College to that society. Students are selected on the basis of numerous criteria, including GPA, the selection of courses, and instructors' recommendations. More than 450 seniors qualified based on GPA, and the instructors' recommendations were vital in making the 75 selected seniors stand out from a remarkable pool of candidates. Two of Natalie's Arabic professors, Professors Fatima Khan and Fadia Antabli, wrote letters to express their enthusiastic support for Natalie's selection. Natalie is a majoring in MENA Studies and minoring in International Studies.
