In order to achieve Gender Equity, we need to start with Education
Congratulations to Rana Raddawi for publishing an article in the Diplomatic Courier with members of the Salzburg Global Seminar Group, Annelise Claire, Tomoo Nakayama, and Farihah Ahmad Fahmy. The article which is called Real World Gender Equity Starts with Better Curricula is the result of a 5-day workshop at the Salzburg Global Seminar on Education, Transformation and Gender in December 2022 to which Rana Raddawi was invited. The authors write that in order to achieve gender equity, which is a deep-rooted global issue, we have to start with changing education since environments and curricula reflect the social, cultural, and linguistic realities of the societies they represent.
