Sayed Kashua visits Hebrew Class
March 3, 2024
Professor Tzuker-Seltzer created an unforgettable experience for her students when she invited Sayed Kashua to her third-year Hebrew class. Sayed Kashua, a Palestinian author, script writer, and journalist who was born and raised in Israel, is known for his novels and columns in Hebrew and English. The students read Kashua's texts and watched his TV series throughout the quarter, as the course was dedicated to Sayed Kashua's works (along with the works of the Israeli writer Etgar Keret). During the class discussion, which was entirely in Hebrew, the students asked thoughtful questions which Kashua answered with sensitivity and candor.
