International Women's Day Poster Exhibition

In honor of International Women’s Day, our students contributed posters in Arabic, Turkish, and Hebrew to the poster exhibit Portraits of Remarkable Women Across Languages and Cultures. There were a total of 80 posters by students of 14 languages displayed in the Main Library. Each featured remarkable women from the various languages and cultures taught at Northwestern. This event is organized by the Outreach Committee of the Council on Language Instruction to honor the remarkable achievements of women across the globe.
Posters were on display from March 2 through April 30 in the Main Library. We want to thank Professors Topcuoglu, Raddawi, and Tzuker Seltzer for working with their students on the fabulous posters and congratulate the students for their creative work and their exciting presentations during the reception on March 2nd.
